INFORMATION RE: THE CLINIC AND CORONAVIRUS. THE CLINIC IS REMAINING OPEN DURING LOCKDOWN.

The position of the BAcC is that acupuncture performed by our members is absolutely a medical or health service and we are supported in this classification by the Professional Standards Agency and therefore thankfully able to continue to practice during the lockdown.

Please note that even although this is a low-cost community clinic, you will be treated in your own separate room. This is not a multi-bed clinic. You don’t need to share your space or privacy with anyone other than your practitioner. You are unlikely to be within a close distance to anyone else, including in the waiting area, during your visit to the clinic.

I have a duty of care to you so endeavour to create a safe and caring clinic. As a member of the British Acupuncture Council I want to reassure you that I operate the clinic under clear hygiene codes, taking all necessary precautions to protect myself and my patients as a matter of course.  This includes the use of disposable couch paper, hand sanitiser, and masks. Also hand washing after every contact and thorough cleaning and disinfection of surfaces before each clinic. It helps that the premises have wooden floors.  You are always welcome to bring your own the blankets if you prefer it to using ones the clinic provides for your warmth and modesty.

Please make sure you bring a mask to wear throughout your visit. I look forward to welcoming you to the clinic.
